FBA Broker Helps Determined Franchisees Close a Deal with Island Fin Poke

Ed and Frank began their journey interested in purchasing a coffee shop franchise, but as soon as FBA Broker Wayne Angel presented Island Fin Poke to them, they were passionate from the start. Ed was previously a project manager, providing him with the experience and determined attitude needed to run a successful franchise.

Island Fin Poke was looking for a brand ambassador that could prove they understand how the business works by following their business model on a local level, but Ed and Frank knew they could do more for the brand. After following the instructions given to them and completing 30 days of webinars, FDD reviews, SBA pre-approval, validation calls, and calls with the company’s founder, a deal was signed. Ed and Frank excitedly became Island Fin Poke’s ideal franchisees on May 28th. This duo is even interested in opening more Island Fin Poke franchises in The Villages, FL in the future.

This 30-day deal closure would not have been possible without the guidance of Wayne, who recently began his career as a franchise broker, and fellow FBA Broker Reggie Beason. When the lead on this deal originated, Wayne immediately got to work with the client. He quickly booked a call to discuss the potential of partnering with Island Fin Poke.

Why Franchise with Island Fin Poke?

Island Fin Poke is set apart from other restaurants by the family-like feeling created by owners Mark and Paul. What started as a dream shared by two friends became a successful restaurant business with 9 locations throughout California and Florida. Business is growing for Island Fin Poke with several more locations set to open soon.

Since 2016, this casual dining restaurant has operated based on a “treat customers like family” rule. This is demonstrated not only by founders Mark and Paul, but also by the restaurant’s menu. All the sauces used at Island Fin Poke are homemade and were taste-tested by Mark and Paul’s family and friends. The ingredients they use are sustainably sourced and even gluten-free. The company takes pride in offering customers fresh, high-quality ingredients. With treatment like this, it’s no wonder customers feel so welcomed at Island Fin Poke.

Island Fin Poke offers two kinds of franchising opportunities depending on the interest of prospective franchisees. Franchisees can choose to open one location of Island Fin Poke that they can operate in a territory of their choosing. Another option is to become an area development franchisee, meaning there is opportunity to open multiple Island Fin Poke locations in a territory. Island Fin Poke also offers a thorough training program to new franchisees to ensure that restaurant locations run smoothly.

Note: We use the term “Franchise Broker” because it is the legal term for our profession. Others in the industry use “Franchise Consultants” which they self-define. We choose to use the legal term as we feel it’s more appropriate and clear. Consultants typically charge for services. Franchise Brokers are paid by the Seller, not the Buyer. There is no charge to the Buyer for our Franchise Broker services.
